Deputify Free Trial Terms

1. The free trial

The trial is FREE (£0) for 15 days. There is no automatic paid subscription and you are not committed to purchasing Deputify. If you wish to continue afterwards, we will provide the applicable pricing and Deputify Service Terms separately for your acceptance.

Either you or AIFirst Technologies may end the trial at any time.

2. What Deputify does

Deputify is an AI-powered telephone assistant that can handle calls forwarded to it, speak with callers, understand and capture enquiry information, assess and summarise the information, send call summaries to your business through WhatsApp and, where configured and appropriate, attempt to transfer a caller to a human.

3. Calls, AI and transcription

You control when calls are forwarded to Deputify and remain responsible for enabling, changing and disabling forwarding. The availability and operation of forwarding features depend on your telephone/network provider.

At the beginning of a Deputify-handled call, callers are informed that they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the conversation is transcribed and processed to help handle their enquiry. Persistent audio call recording is not part of the current Deputify configuration.

AI may misunderstand callers, miss information, incorrectly summarise information or otherwise produce inaccurate information. Important information should be confirmed with the caller where appropriate.

4. Urgent and emergency enquiries

Deputify may assess apparent urgency from information provided by a caller and provide a recommendation or escalation based on its configured behaviour.

Deputify is not an emergency service and should not be relied upon as the sole means of identifying or responding to situations involving immediate danger to people or property. AI-generated urgency assessments and recommendations may be incomplete or incorrect.

5. Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate business and configuration information, be authorised to use and forward the relevant business calls, and use Deputify and its information responsibly and lawfully. You must not intentionally use the service for unlawful, abusive or fraudulent purposes.

You remain responsible for your business decisions, customer relationships, quotations, appointments, services and work carried out for callers.

6. Service availability and ending the trial

Deputify is an early-stage trial service. AIFirst Technologies will use reasonable efforts to operate it reliably and address problems, but it depends on telecommunications, internet, AI and other third-party services. Continuous, uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised.

The service, assistant behaviour or configuration may be adjusted during the trial to address problems, improve performance or respond to feedback. Where reasonably possible, we will avoid changes that materially disrupt your use.

You may stop the trial at any time. AIFirst Technologies may suspend or end it where reasonably necessary, including for technical or security problems, unlawful or inappropriate use, or where continued operation becomes impractical. Where reasonably possible, we will let you know beforehand.

7. Responsibility, liability and ownership

Deputify assists your business and does not replace your judgement or responsibility. AI may produce inaccurate information. You remain responsible for business decisions and should verify important information with callers where appropriate.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AIFirst Technologies will not be liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, anticipated savings, business opportunity, goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from or relating to the trial.

Subject to the exclusions above and to any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, AIFirst Technologies' total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Deputify trial will not exceed £250.

The £250 amount is a maximum aggregate liability cap and does not represent guaranteed compensation or an amount automatically payable if a problem occurs.

Nothing in these Trial Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Deputify, its software, workflows, prompts, configurations, branding and related technology remain the property of AIFirst Technologies and/or its licensors. You retain your rights in your own business and customer information. The trial gives you a limited right to use Deputify to evaluate it for your business during the trial period; it does not transfer ownership of Deputify or its underlying technology.

8. Privacy, governing law and contact

Personal data is processed as part of providing Deputify. Please see our Privacy Notice for information about how personal data is handled.

The customer-specific Trial Terms provide that those terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them will be governed by the laws of India.

The customer-specific Trial Terms provide that, subject to applicable law, the courts of competent jurisdiction at Zirakpur, Punjab, India will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with those terms.
